Cocos-BCX adopts the DPoS consensus mechanism, which maintains the Cocos-BCX network and ecological governance through community voting for 11 active BPs and 11 councils. Therefore, to maintain the project, voting will last in a long time.

Q5. If I have already voted for Node 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, can I change my mind and withdraw my votes?

If you have already voted 40 votes for nodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, but you change your mind, you do not want to vote for nodes 4,5,6. In this situation, you should unselect the checkbox of nodes 4, 5, 6, click “Withdraw “button, fill out 0, and eventually, only nodes 1, 2, 3 will receive 40 votes. Nodes 4,5,6 will receive 0 vote.

Voting will cost a bit handling fee. But those COCOS used for voting will not be consumed, they will be frozen.

Users who pledge 50 million COCOS can register as the council candidates or BP candidates or as both a Council and a Block Producer candidate. Candidates who obtain top 11 votes will become active BPs or council members.

Active BPs’ block generation rewards will be issued in real-time. (Generating one block in 2 seconds, each block generation gets 100 COCOS.) At present, active BPs need to claim rewards actively.

The benefits of the active councils will be immediately distributed, and it will be distributed once every 24 hours.

Q13. How to claim the benefits of unselected candidates?

It will be automatically distributed to the unselected candidates’ MainNet COCOS accounts.
