01、Cocos-BCX MainNet Account System Introduction
Firstly, the registration and login of the COCOS account system are divided into two modes: [Wallet Mode] and [Account Mode]
[Account Mode] is a login method that uses account name and password to calculate the private key.The principle is similar to mnemonic words, which is equivalent to replacing the private key with an account and password that is easy to remember, which has a more user-friendly experience .
Note: To improve account security, it is recommended to use a password with a certain degree of complexity when creating an account to prevent the loss of assets caused by the password being easily cracked.And for our users,please make sure to backup the private key!
[Wallet mode] can be simply understood as packaging all the private keys or keys of all accounts in your wallet into a file and setting an unlock password.This private key file or key file is only owned by you. Anyone on the Internet does not have right to store your private key, so please remember to download and save it for your own backup!
Private keys are involved in either [Wallet Mode] or [Account Mode].There are two types of private keys in the Cocos-BCX account system, with different permissions:
1. Asset private key (active) active authority is used to set the account name or public key that has the authority to spend funds in this account.
2. Account private key (owner) account permissions set who can control this account. The controller (account name or public key) can modify the respective settings related to the account, including permission settings.
02、Safety advices (this is very important!!!)
Wallet suggestion:For wallet ,we recommend that everyone should use bitpie wallet, bitpie has supported the COCOS MainNet, very safe and secured.
Account suggestions:
1. Don’t give your account to others to operate;
2. Change account password regularly;
3. Don’t set too simple passwords, use a combination of numbers, uppercase and lowercase letters, special characters, etc. to increase password complexity;
4. Please be sure to protect the private key and password; once lost, they cannot be retrieved, be careful! ! !
5. Except for CocosWallet and CocosPay, all the others apps are Cocos-BCX ecological products.Please do not login directly with your account password if you cannot confirm whether the ecological products are safe and reliable.The safer way to use ecological products is to login through CocosWallet and Cocospay authorizated methods.
6. Computers or any other equipments used for transactions should be secured, firewalls and anti-virus software should be installed, do not click on unknown network links, and do not download software and files with unknown functions.
Finally: Please be sure to keep your private key and account password.The password is changed regularly and the setting has enough complexity.Please don’t tell others your password!
